Why I Decided to Look for the Pretty world in My Life?

My name is Osvaldo Giardino. I’m an engineer, living a life that looked perfectly fine on the outside — a good job, a loving family, a routine split between Milan and Sicily. But deep down, there was always a quiet voice whispering: “This isn’t the life you truly want.”

There wasn’t a dramatic turning point, no sudden crisis. Just a growing awareness that the people around me, the rhythm of my days, the expectations I was trying to meet — none of it allowed me to live a life that felt truly pretty.

So I asked myself a simple, yet powerful question: Why not go in search of the pretty things?

I quit my job. I chose to travel. And most importantly, I chose to tell stories.

This blog was born from that decision — from the desire to share stories of people, animals, that have chosen, or are trying, to make their lives more beautiful, more real, more pretty. And why not to help them in this transformation.

I was inspired by the story of Pretty Woman, not just the film, but because I met a woman whose life echoed that same transformation. She reminded me that it’s always possible to rewrite your story, take the life easier and prettier.
